Shadows and CandlesA soft glow of a candle, the only companion of my own. The light tries to brighten the room. But I can still see the shadows, and darkness shifting restlessly, around the room. As they get closer the dimmer my candle glows. Softly like a cold breeze, I feel them around me. Whispers. It's all I hear. And soon they have gotten closer yet.
